Xmas turkey
| | Well, so much to write, pity my camera's bust. Never mind.
| | We're down my parents in South Wales. Amanda, me, Esme and Bradley. Came down on the 24th. Had two un wrapping sessions Christmas morning. First was us and my parents with Esme unwrapping everything, then Charlotte (8yrs) and Stacey (11yrs) came up to unwrap their presents from their grandparents (my Mam and Dad). So Esme had another bundle of presents to unwrap. Bradley, as suspected was more interested in the boxes and wrapping paper, though he did get some push along trucks that caught his attention (and mine, I'm fed up of dolls and stuff).
| | So, my sister came with Charlotte and Stacey and her husband, Dai. 10 of us in my Mam's little house! And Christmas dinner too. She needs a bigger dinning room, no to mention a bigger table.
Poor cat!
| | Not only did Amanda not hand over our house keys to her sister when she went in to drop them of, but she also wasn't sure if the cat was in, if she'd switched off the oven, and something else.
| | So she's just driven up to our house, a trip of 106 miles (2 hours and a bit, maybe two and a half) to feed the cat and the two fish.
| | She just called to say that she'd lock the cat up stairs, even though we'd left plenty of food out in the kitchen, next to the litter tray. So, I'd guess that not only had it shit somewhere, but it had nothing to eat for 72 hours, and probably nothing to drink either, since, there's no dripping taps in the bathroom and we'd put bleach down the toilet.
| | Amanda's had a cold and conjunctivitis, and an infected cheek, so she's not been quite on the ball. Maybe it as my fault, I should have realised and checked over everything she was doing.
Kid's Crimbone
| | They've had a fine time. Bradley particularly has come out of himself here. He said to me, "ba-ba." So I started singing ba-ba black sheep, and he started nodding his head, which is an action to "yes, sir. Yes, sir." AND pointing, which is an action for "little boy who lives down the lane."
| | I was quite surprised, as I've not done this before, but someone obviously has with him.
| | There's been a few things that he's done like that, which for a 14 month old, I think is pretty advanced. But then I would, wouldn't I?
| | Esme's much more grown up too. She's here now, watching telly while colouring in. She's got a pair of jeans with a button and a zip! She's so proud.
| | One of the presents she had was a CD stereo -- loads of buttons. When she opened it, she was, it think, a little dismayed, maybe she thought it was a disguised present for us, maybe she though it was too old for her, it's grey and very modern looking. Maybe she though it was to complex. Whatever, now she likes it. Playing Teletubbies, and Tweenies, very, very loud. Still can't work it, but figured the volume.
| | And she loves her Barbie bike. Sitting on it watching telly with her Barbie safety helmet.
