Bradley's birthday
Wooo-hooo! Scarey! We're off to Chester zoo today -- if anybody asks.
What fun
So, we went, we saw, we has chips, beans and sausages. I think there was so much for us all to see I don't remember Esme being particularly impressed with any of the animals, Bradley certainly wasn't interested. He just made woo-woo noises or sat stoically in the pushchair, braving the wind and cold.
Towards the end I put Bradley in the sling and Esme took the pushchair. Bradley and I woo-woo'd each other, drawing strange looks from animals and visitors.
Party on dude
This was much more fun. Alex and Francis turned up and all four played nicely in the front room, Bradley making woo-woo noises and pushing his way through the melee with the train -- that's right he's walking now, well, if he's got something to push against -- hence the toy train. He's also standing up and walking a few paces to get hold of another hand grip.
 We sang:
 Happy birthday to you
 Squashed tomatoes and stew
Bread and butter for your supper
 Happy birthday to you
Lots of video footage, though giving the camera to Alex was a mistake, especially when he put it under his arm while he looked for something to film -- all that precious tape seeing nowt but his sweat shirt. I guess it just adds to the atmosphere
